We explore how molecular symmetry, biological sequences, and interfacial interactions give rise to materials that adapt, communicate, and evolve—redefining complexity from the nanoscale up. At the intersection of biology and materials science, our lab pioneers a new design language where matter is not just structured, but also responsive, chiral, and emergent. By harnessing the logic of life, we aim to create systems that go beyond static function—materials that think, transform, and interact with their environments.
